Maté vert Sauvage

Un maté vert issu de récolte sauvage au Parana, Brésil.

Le maté vert est encore présent à l'état natif dans certaines zones de l'état du Parana, au Sud du Brésil. Il pousse naturellement à l'ombre de la forêt. Il n'y est récolté que tous les 2 ans, manuellement et de juin à août, ce qui lui confère un taux de phytonutriments plus élevé que le maté cultivé.

Ingredients
Ilex paraguiensis*, wild mate leaves, steam-stabilized, then dried, cut, and stored until ripe. *Product from organic and fair trade farming.

Directions for use
Fill the gourd 2/3 full with mate. Pack the mate down the side of the gourd. Pour in a little cold water, then let it absorb for 2 to 3 minutes. Insert the bombilla. Pour in hot water (approximately 80°C), then let it steep for 2 to 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Care instructions
Make sure to dry your gourd thoroughly to eliminate all traces of moisture.
